A stunningly beautiful departure from Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport in Austria over the spectacular Alps to the beautiful Split Airport in Croatia. I was backtracking down the runway at Innsbruck when I got told to stop immediately by ATC, I guess I oversped a little and they thought I was taking off😂 On to Split where I had the crazy runway 23 landing to contend with, cue all sorts of warnings about terrain and sink rate😂 I had to deploy the spoilers to keep my speed down on approach and only just managed to get things under control😂BATC struggled with this approach and its no surprise, its a tough one with all the mountains surrounding the airport! This will be my only video this week as I have been too busy to fly recently, if I get the chance I will do another but its looking unlikely!
