Spoiler alert... This antenna did not work well. I took notes from K7RAW's video, where he describes his vertical dipole made from a pool noodle and other materials. After the build, I tweaked the swr by reducing and adding to the length of the elements. Once I think the swr is good, it will be all over the place the next time I set up the antenna. If anyone has had a lot of success, let me know your secret. Currently, I think that perhaps the two elements need to be brought in closer together (at the bnc connector). But I don't know. I spent way too much time on this one. I am ready to toss it in the boneyard. Thanks for stopping by!
