So I was checking out YouTube and I was really surprised to find that their weren't any tributes to Shawn and Topanga's relationship from Boys Meets World. Shawn mentions a couple of times in the series how Topanga is his best friend right after Cory. Topanga also says the same sentiment. I wanted to show all the best scenes with these 2 in this music video. The video can be interrupted as either friendship or something more. It's completely up to the viewer ^__^ I would like to make more tributes to them but I'm stumped as to what songs I should use so if anyone has some suggestions I'd love to hear them. Creators Thoughts: ((SPOILERS)) Now I know I'm in the minority here but I always thought topanga and shawn would have made a better couple than cory and topanga ( crazy I know!) And it's not just because they look hot together but because of their contrasting personalities. I know it's an overused cliche but the term 'opposites attract' would fit this pair. In one episode the theory is even introduced regarding the 2 of them. The idea of the bad boy getting together with a spiritual- hippie- good girl has always been a combination couple I would love to see. Shawn did show a couple instances where he clearly found topanga attractive. He was overcome with her hotness in the episode where she cut her hair, in the 1st season he and cory saw her in her bathing suit and couldn't form any insults to throw at her, he stares at her and her new chest when it's their first day in highschool, once he's in relationship he still mentions how beautiful topnaga is ( I think it was in the episode where everyone thinks she's pregnant, he hugged and kissed her when she was upset about moving. Plus the writers addressed the idea of shawn and topanga throught-out the series. They had them go out on a date (though it was a pretext of putting cory and topanga together, they had eric and later cory believe they were together after eric witnessed shawn comforting her, Topanga's father never liked shawn because he thought he was gonna go after his daughter and he jokes about how he saw them making out, Cory thinks topanga is pregnant and thinks shawn is the father, and then their was the episode where shawn and topanga had to pretend to be a couple for a college video and they had to pasionateIy kiss which led to a couple freak-outs by cory. The point I'm trying to make is that tptb put many scenes that are shippable with them. I know the series reiterated how cory and topanga are each other's destinies, yada, yada, yada! Things can always change when your older and in the end of the series they have the three of them moving to new york together which creates many possibilities. The series also shows a possible polygamous relationship between cory/shawn/topanga. Shawn makes a comment in season 4 of how all three of them could be very happy together and in the last episode they all go to new york together plus eric. So this way everyone's happy! So those were some of my thoughts and if you read all that, you deserve a cookie! ^___^
