Libyan Traditional Maloof Music - Bushra Haniyah

I couldn't find any traditional Libyan music, specifically Maloof (which i'm a fan of!), and so thought I would fill the gap! Enjoy! This type of music is known as Maloof. It originated in Andalusia Spain when the Arabs ruled most of Spain. When the Arabs were expelled from Spain some of them went to North Africa and took this type of music with them. As a result Morocco, Tunisia & Algeria also have a similar style of Maloof music although it is known by a different name in those countries. There are many groups in Libya who sing Maloof, but Hassan Arabi and his group are one of the most well known.
