This tutorial on an art-based practice to prevent body shaming is realised by Animus Association Foundation (Sofia, Bulgaria), one of the partners of the Body Shining project. This video is part of a toolkit for the prevention of body shaming. Watch the rest of our videos to discover the many facets of body shaming and to help you implement 10 different methodologies developed by all 5 partner organisations (ANIMUS, ATYPICAL, ELAN, MOH and SMOUTH). The videos will hopefully inspire and assist youth workers to bring up and raise awareness about the act of body-shaming in order to prevent such phenomena. Each organisation developed and implemented 2 methodologies relating to the prevention of body-shaming phenomena in their own city. These workshops took place in Bari, Belfast, Larissa, Paris and Sofia with youth workers and youths participants either together or separately. ◾ Discover here the toolkit for prevention and the book on body shaming: https://www.bodyshining.eu/resources/ __________ “Body Shining” is the outcome of the interest of all 5 European partner associations to multiply and improve the tools and abilities in the field of non-formal education with youth at risk of social exclusion, by sharing and combining resources, abilities, experiences and good practices amongst them. Our initiative roots from the increasingly frequent manifestation of the act of Body-Shaming among youngsters. The Body Shining project is funded by Agenzia Nazionale per i Giovani under the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2, Strategic partnerships in the youth field. __________ The European Commission’s support for the production of this publication does not constitute an endorsement of the contents, which reflect the views only of the authors, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.
