To prevent injuries baseball players must be sure to keep their shoulders flexible. As baseball players begin lifting weights and complete long bouts of throwing, shoulder muscles will become inflamed. Muscle fibers will slowly get micro tears throughout the rotator cuff. This is a natural process but can still cause pain and discomfort. Baseball players can jump back faster from shoulder soreness with simple target stretches.
