P.S. Waverley from Folkestone to Margate, Southend-on-Sea and London Tower Pier in September 1993

We join paddle steamer Waverley at Folkestone Harbour in September 1993 for a cruise to Margate, Southend-on-Sea and London Tower Pier. At this time Folkestone was still open as a cross-Channel port and we see "SeaCat Calais" leaving on a service to Boulogne. Waverley departs shortly afterwards and cruises along the Kent coast past Dover, Ramsgate and North Foreland to call at Margate. The cruise continues into the Thames estuary and to the next calling point at Southend-on-Sea. Waverley then continues along the River Thames and through Tower Bridge to London Tower Pier where our cruise ends.
