Folks, we present to you "Manchurian Beat 1990 live" (cover)!!!! Of course it is the Gerry McGee version this time. We love this version the most so I asked Mina to try her best. McGee had so much poise playing this song on stage!!! Boy, I wasn't too sure if we would play this song because the name of the song to me was a bit politically incorrect I think. But I tell ya, the tune just grows on you and if you are a guitarist, this is one of the must play songs, both for lead and rhythm guitar I tell ya. This is the first time Mina takes up the role of working as a producer. I know, it's home studio DIY recording but still, it'd be good to have a "producer" for the job. Mina tries it for the first time and making good of a checklist we have come up with, hoping that the audio quality of the song we are presenting you would be up to a certain standard so folks, put on your earphones or play this video through a hi-fi stereo system and see if you like it. Perhaps through an app your car has while you are sitting there listening to our music? So, check out the playlist below:    • Mina's Surf Rock   Ride of the Song: BMW E28 740il Ok, I was not running out of cars to talk to about but was actually thinking of riding different cars to gigs would be too insane, although there ARE people who have more than enough cars in the world and have like a hanger or two to house of all of the cars (with air conditioning of course but with solar power). I was hoping that I would just ride the same cars to gigs (hahaha) and would write about other things instead of cars. But, I guess to go to our usual studio, we'd hop in a BMW 740il (e28) this time. I don't see these handsome cars no more in town, despite they are actually built to last. I can't go with the v12 750il as it is just too heavy, and it really doesn't produce that much horsepower. I DO like how the whole top of the line package of the 750il is, with alcantara everywhere, heated everything, individual seats at the back with rear folding trays (I need those), and probably a TV that cost just as much as a Japanese k-car and built-in car phones (yes, sometimes they have one in front and one at the back) that only look nostalgic nowadays. I actually was hoping to get one of the only two E28 L7 in town that one time. The seller kept trying to persuade me because he knew exactly what I wanted (but back then, there was no Cotton Kids yet). It was this extended wheelbase 7 series, with partition in the middle and even curtains for it! Rear trays, mini bar, pop up TV, individual powered rear seats, you name it. But it was kind of long and a driver was needed. The one that I looked it, it got bulletproof glasses, and I just thought it was insane and too heavy. i have to admit, I liked the middle partition though especially with curtains. The BMW e28 L7 limos were very rare, as they were the real deal built by BMW. But proportionally, the 740il is always more handsome. I need bigger rims though. Nevermind the rear manual side windows privacy curtains. I can live with that I tell ya. All these new EVs have "iPads" on dash, Check out how nice a real center console and dash the e28 has ia, and u will know what you are missing.
