This is my aunt's Rainbow E2 Black Canister Vacuum that was bought brand new in the mid 2010s. My aunt had many vacuums when I was little, most of them being 2 Rainbow D3's, and a couple of Panasonic Jet Flo's and even a Panasonic Performance Plus, and the 2 D3's she had definitely sparked my interest in Rainbows (mostly the D3's), but since I was over helping to move some stuff around her house, I thought I'd grab this new beauty and film it for me and y'all, my viewers. These Rainbows are so unique because they use water as a filter, and the way they get their suction is by the fan mounted at the top having suction flow through the water separator (keeps water from entering the motor) and into the motor, and all the suction flows downwards into the water basin and all the dirt gets trapped in the water and the rest of the air flows through the separator (and on these new E series Rainbows, most of the air gets exhausted out through a sealed HEPA media filter in the back). It has all of the attachments including a carpet shampooer system (yes, Rainbow makes those too besides Kirby, they just have theirs a little bit different). It features a 9.5 amp, 2 speed hurricane brushless motor with clean air design, and has a 1 amp power nozzle motor (combined it has 10.5 amps). The suction and airflow are really great on this machine for a canister, and the agitation is pretty good as well. The only thing I have to complain about this machine, although I love the performance, it's inconvenient because the casters on the wheel caddy get stiff from dirt and dust buildup and occasionally and don't like to swivel completely, so the motor unit isn't very maneuverable. Overall, I really love this vacuum, and even though I'm a bigger fan of the D series of Rainbows, I do love what Rainbow did with the E Series.
