The Largest Waterfall in UAE-Khorfakkan Waterfalls | Waterfall and Amphitheatre in Khorfakkan UAE Khor Fakkan is a town on the Gulf of Oman, in the United Arab Emirates. It centers on Khor Fakkan Bay, home to the curved Khor Fakkan Beach and a deep-sea port. A promenade runs along the beachfront, against the backdrop of the dramatic Hajar Mountains. Archaeological sites include ancient graves and a ruined Portuguese fort. West of town is Wadi Wurayah, a biodiverse mountain area with waterfalls and natural pools. We took the afternoon to go and visit Khor Fakkan but as we got there we realized we should have taken the whole day. Khore Fakka has many places to visit and as it is close to Fujairah it is a must to stay in Khor Fakkan overnight and go visit Fujairah the day after. There are many things to do in Khor Fakkan and this place should be on your list of places to visit in Dubai and things to do in Dubai, because Khor Fakkan is only 1 and a half hour away form dubai and its a very beautiful place. The #waterfall ( Aabshar ) is the second tourist destination after the recent launch of shees park. It is located 43 metres above sea level and inside the natural mountain cave with 45 metres long and 11 metres wide. Because of advanced technology, you can see the waterfall slanting from the top of the cave down to the mountain with stunning panoramic views of the Khor Fakkan beach. The #KhorFakkan #Amphitheatre #khorfakkanbeach, a #Roman-style architectural marvel — with the ability to accommodate 3,600 spectators — Inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, on Mon-Dec-2020.The development has been carved out of an existing mountain in the area and offers stunning views of the picturesque coastal city and its beaches. With 234 arches and 295 columns, the 190,000-sq ft amphitheatre is a# dazzling example of #historical and contemporary architecture combined. It is linked to the Waterfall cave by elevators and a #walkway #Situated on an elevated hillock , the Khor Fakkan Amphitheatre offers visitors a spectacular view overlooking the corniche. The building of the amphitheatre is located at the foot of Al Sayed #Mountain facing the Khor Fakkan beach. The lobby is equipped with six main elevators, divided into two entrances with three elevators for each entrance to serve visitors. The amphitheatre is built on a total area of 190,000 square feet and can accommodate 3,600 spectators all around the year.
