In this video, we had a good time spent at Ganga river bank in front of the Parmarth Ashram. In the afternoon we visited local market nearby, had tea, and spent a wonderful mesmerizing evening at the river bank. Later evening, we met Sadvi Bhagwati Saraawati Ji, who is the second head of Parmarth Ashram. Rishikesh is a city in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. Temples and ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) line the eastern bank around Swarg Ashram, a traffic-free, alcohol-free and vegetarian enclave upstream from Rishikesh town. This is the part of our previous Uttarakhand Journey 2021 series. Few videos couldn't be published in time due to some uncertain reasons. Hence publishing those now. Pardon for the same.
