Today's Mordhau gameplay video features an updated Viking build. Every year, since 2019, I've updated my Viking build in one way or another. This year, he's a light armor War Axe Viking who's hitting the sandy streets of Noria for his debut battle. In Mordhau, a lot of people run Viking builds, and they almost always use the Battle Axe, the War Axe, or the regular Axe. What many people may not realize is that Vikings never had helmets with horns on them, like you'd see in Looney Tunes. I did a little bit of research before building this year's Mordhau Viking build. Turns out there's not a lot of Viking helmets that were discovered that we can reliably pull inspiration from. There was one that was the most complete, and luckily, Mordhau has an option that is most similar to it. It's the design I use in this build. It doesn't really matter how you design your Mordhau Viking, since they use whatever they could get their hands on, so it makes sense to use a mix-matched design. Generally, the scrappier the better.
