Walking the Length of Gelora Bung Karno Stadium | Jakarta Night Walk | Indonesian City | Senayan GBK

This was an unplanned video. I was at Senayan City shopping mall doing grocery when an idea suddenly came to me that it would be nice to just walk the length of Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. The sidewalk and the streets were quieter than usual as it was only the third day of 2022 Eid al-Fitr. It was a pleasant walk as the weather was agreeable after a sudden downpour in the late afternoon, but the stadium area on the left hand side was almost pitch black. There wasn’t any grand idea behind this video, but I hope you’ll find it calming somehow. I’d like to go back to the area again someday to capture how it looks like during the day. Maybe even jog at the main stadium! I was rather pleased with myself because Senayan is administratively under South Jakarta, while the stadium is under Central Jakarta. So technically I walked across two cities (municipalities) LOL.
