In this video I am going to show you how to load and unload safely my 4.5 metres kayak (14.7 feet) on a standard car roof rack. It seems simple, but you need the right technique to avoid to hurting yourself. It took me a while to find mine and I am happy to now share with you the right way, the right posture and all you have to do to load the kayak by yourself without any help! In this scenario I'm loading a Viking Profish Reload with its 31kg of weight. The Volkswagen Polo is equipped with basic Rhino Roof Racks. The yellow pipes are pool noodles for a cost of $2.
