Audi SQ7/SQ8/RSQ8 DIY Spark Plugs/Coilpacks

Quick little video highlighting how to install spark plugs and coil packs in an SQ7/SQ8/RSQ8 EA825 4.0T engine. This is not a technically demanding install it’s just a pain because of the harnesses that sit on top of the coil packs/spark plugs being in the way. -Get your car into oil service position. -Take off (8) 10mm nuts holding harness onto coil packs. -Unclip coil pack plugs/injector plugs/EVAP tubing etc -manipulate the harness out of the way so you can access the 10mm bolt holding coil pack in and remove. -Pull coil packs out, this will take some patience, it’s tight. -Remove spark plugs with 14mm 12 point spark plug, a slim socket and a swivel spark plug socket will make this a lot easier. I did not reinstall OEM plugs, I upgraded to NGK Racing R2556G-9 w/ a 0.24 gap. These plugs required a 16mm (or 5/8th) 12 point extra slim socket, I had to “modify” mine by grinding it down as thin as possible to fit.
