The main problem is that dates and times are in various formats and the text contains some extra spaces. To extract the date part, I'm using the EXTRACTDATE function. Add the first argument which is the cell that contains the date. The function cleans up the data first, then converts all records to ISO date format. Press enter to get the result. Let us see how to extract time into a new column. The EXTRACTTIME functions recognize time patterns in the given string and then extract them into a new column. Type the function, and add the first argument: the cell contains time values. Press enter to get the result. Using an optional separator, both functions recognize multiple dates and times and get the result using a comma-separated list. In the example, I'm using a comma and the result looks great.
