A Via Ferrata in a Slot Canyon?

Arizona's newest Via Ferrata - And it's in a Slot Canyon? Page, Arizona If you'd like to book, check out Antelope Ridge Adventure Park's website here; https://www.anteloperidgeadventurepar... I love Via Ferrata's. Unfortunately, there aren't many in Arizona. Well, now there's a new one in a beautiful slot canyon just outside of Page, Arizona. Yes, I said it's in a slot canyon. I....I've never heard of something like that. I love via ferrata's.....And I love slot canyons. So when one of their guides reached out to me to ask if I'd like to check it out, I immediately said yes. It did not disappoint. If you're reading this, you probably know what a via ferrata is and understand the draw; it basically lets non-rock climbers experience the fun of rock climbing even if they don't have the experience and gear to climb on their own. They're fun. They're really fun. But via ferrata's are normally on the side of mountains. Not this one. This one is in a slot canyon. Like I said, I also love slot canyons. Especially really tight, deep and sculpted ones like this one. The problem is they're usually really tough to get through, requiring another skill called canyoneering. For a canyon like this, you would need skill and experience setting anchors, rappelling, stemming and downclimbing. But with a via ferrata located here, anyone can do it. I think the video speaks for itself. If you're in the Page, Arizona area and have a half a day free, this is what you want to do. Unless it's raining. If it's raining, don't go into a slot canyon. Some people will undoubtedly leave comments saying they don't like that there's a via ferrata here. That the land should be untouched by man. I understand that argument and I am not going to argue for or against it here. This isn't my land and it's not my right to say what should happen here. But I want to add this. Before Antelope Ridge Adventures did this, the canyon was closed to the public. It was also pretty neglected. It was filled with trash and there is a lot of graffiti carved into it at the end. It's now been cleaned out and they are working on cleaning off the graffiti. I know that won't change minds one way or another, but Theo took a lot of pride in those efforts and you can tell he cares about the land. Anyway, I'm tired of typing. I feel like I should have said something like "Slot canyons and via ferrata's. The best thing since peanut butter and chocolate" or something. Is that too cheesy? Or is that the perfect amount of cheesy? It's tough to be funny when you're at that Dad joke age. It's....I'm done. Hope you enjoy the video. Music by Artlist: Far - The Hunts
