motion in a straight line concept of linear acceleration lecture-7

Linear acceleration is the rate at which an object's velocity changes with time along a straight path. In other words, it measures how quickly the speed of an object increases or decreases in a specific direction. Mathematically, it's defined as the change in velocity (Δv) divided by the change in time (Δt): 𝑎 = Δ𝑣/Δ𝑡 Here, a is the linear acceleration, and it is measured in meters per second squared (m/s²) in the SI system. If the acceleration is positive, the object's velocity is increasing; if negative (often called deceleration), the velocity is decreasing.
