Jhal Magsi district of Balochistan remained a part of the Kalhora rule until 1739. After that Nadir Shah of Iran was added to the Kalat Empire in 1740 due to the blood of Khan of Kalat Mir Abdul Khan. Besides, there are many shrines and tombs of the chiefs of the Magi tribe in the district. The architect of Tomb of Moti Gohram at Khanpour, Gandawah, Jhal Magsi is inspire from architect of Taj Mahal. For the symbol of their love, Moti and Gohram (husband/wife) construct this beautiful tomb during their life.
