Miniature car racing at it’s finest! Join me as I race my 1/8 Scale Radio Controlled Car at Northern Ireland’s newest RC Club. RCNI “The Dirt” Places like this really are hidden gems, dotted around the countryside in fields far from view, if you look hard enough you will find a miniature racing track with a gathering of racers of all ages and abilities all enjoying the thrill of motor racing (albeit smaller than you might ordinarily be familiar with) The car I am using today is a Mugen MBX8 Eco, an electric powered radio controlled 1/8 Scale off road buggy. The race is the 3rd qualifying round of the day. I managed to qualify in 2nd overall only to have the misfortune of a wire becoming unplugged during the final, ending my chances of a podium finish.
