I resoled my own L.L. Bean bison moc-toes at home and found an Easter egg!

I love this pair of bison-leather shoes from L.L. Bean so much, I wore out the soles in a year. I decided to re-sole them myself using the tools I've accumulated for knife making and leather crafting. When I pulled the sole off the first shoe, I found a surprise left by the cobbler who built the shoe: his lunch order! They came out great for my first resole. Hopefully they can last more than a year this time.
