Learn Hip Hop Dance: Reebok Dance

How to Dougie: http://bit.ly/DOUGIE The Reebok is focused mainly on the arms and fists. Arms and Fists 1. Start with your right forearm pointing upward on your right side. Your hand should be balled into a fist, palm pointing behind you. Your fist should be held at head height. Swing your forearm downward in front of your chest, ending with your fist out at your side, arm straight. 2. Hold up your left forearm like you did your right in step one. Swing your left forearm downward in front of your chest, ending with your fist out at your side, arm straight. Adding the Head Look in the direction opposite the arm you're holding up and swinging. After you swing the arm, look in the other direction. The Torso Groove Lean your torso back and to the right, then throw it forward and to the left. When you throw it forward, you're straightening up, not leaning any further forward than that. Lean it backward and to the left, then throw it forward and to the right. Repeat this in a smooth, continuous motion throughout the move. Adding the Torso Groove When your forearm is held up at the side of your head, you should also be leaned back and in the direction of that side. When you swing that forearm, throw your torso forward and in the direction you're swinging it. Adding a Double For a double, you'll be adding an additional motion with your arms and with the torso groove. For the arms, don't swing your forearm down all the way after the first part of the double. Your fist should stop at chest height. For the second part of the double, swing it back up, then swing it down all the way.For the torso groove, since you aren't changing sides, lean your torso back and in that same direction for the second part of the double. Now that you've gotten this far in the move, try doing a right, a left and then a double right, followed by a left, a right and then a double left.  Adding the Legs Whenever you do a double in one direction, do two small hops in that direction. Time each hop with the forearm swing. After you add the legs, you'll be doing the full Reebok. Variations Try pressing your fists against your sides so that you're only swinging your elbows. To try a looser variation of the Reebok, leave your hands open instead of balled up during it.To add levels, bend your knees during the dance. Unbend them to come back up. Music by Btonez of #TeamWest Productions Read more by visiting our page at: http://www.mahalo.com/courses/learn-h...
