Tufi is a small Papua New Guinea Government Outstation now called Tufi Rural LLG. It was formerly known as Cape Nelson Rural LLG, in the Oro Province of Papua New Guinea. Tufi is located on the South Eastern of the Cape Nelson between the many drowned river valleys, locally referred to as the Fjords and surrounded by the many unchartered reefs. Tufi is famous for its production of the Tapa Cloth and as well as in the practiced Facial and Body tattooing, especially by the women folks. Tufi Outstation now harbors the development of the Tufi Dive Resort with Accommodation Units and many activities of sight seeing, hiking, diving, fishing and picnicking and swimming on certain village prepared picnic sites and venues.
