2024 Mercedes G Wagon ESCORT Redline Ci 360c Radar Cluster Integration with Mid City Engineering

This week in the shop we have a 2024 Mercedes G Wagon here for top of the line radar detector installation with laser shifting. Check out the Escort Redline Ci 360C with a twist! We are testing the Mid City Engineering cluster integration module on this 2024 Mercedes G Wagon. Is this radar cluster installation interface compatible in this Mercedes G Wagon? We're about to find out! Prior to this install it had only been tested up to 2022 models. For those of you that are not aware, Mid City Engineering is a pretty niche company in the 12 volt industry that makes some very cool interfaces, mostly for Mercedes, but also Porsche, Audi, BMW, Bentley, Lamborghini and more. One of my favorite accessories they offer is their Escort Radar interfaces designed to integrate the radar detector display into the native instrument cluster and steering wheel controls via CAN Bus. With this interface installed, radar alerts are displayed directly on the instrument cluster and basic functions can be changed through the steering wheel controls. This is one of the cleanest ways to install an Escort Redline Ci 360C in a Mercedes G Wagon or any Mercedes for that matter. This radar detector technology is not limited to Mercedes. If you're interested in the Escort Redline radar detector for your vehicle, but are turned off by how/where to mount the display and control pad, this radar cluster integration module is an awesome solution. Although the menu options are scaled back, I think it's awesome that you can navigate basic settings of the Escort Redline Ci 360C through the factory Mercedes steering wheel controls AND see the radar detector readout directly on the instrument cluster.
