7/24 - 7/29/96 An ELQ bored meeting is being held and everyone is outraged to learn that Jason sold his ELQ stock to Sonny. Edward wants to vote Ned out as CEO because he blames Ned for allowing Jason to be able to cash in on that Stock before he is 25. They all take a vote just as Tracy comes in. She has returned to Portcharles after being out of the country for a couple of years. She meets Lois and Justus and votes for Ned but Jax ultimately has the deciding vote and he votes Ned out as CEO. Brenda is in shock that he would do that and Lois and Ned are upset with him for going against him. Alan and Monica have a talk with Jason about what he has done. Alan and Sonny have words and Alan hits him hard with a comment about Lily and Sonny leaves, Jason goes after him. Outside Ned and Sonny are talking and Edward comes up and wants to buy Sonny out but when he refuses, Edward pushes Sonny's button and Sonny tells him to be grateful that he is Jason's grandfather and is an old man and Jax and Brenda looks on. Sonny walks off. The Qs take a family photo with Brenda and Jax.
