I explain how I added directional lighting to a Bachmann BIG Hauler 4-6-0 Locomotive using an array of diodes and 1.5V incandescent Grain of Wheat bulbs. I describe step-by-step how this circuit works and how I installed in my locomotive. Though I used my Bachmann BIG Hauler, this circuit should work in any electric train using conventional DC power - given adequate space.
