The Montana Rail Link Before and After the Takeover

I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to capture the MRL in its days before and shortly after the termination of the lease to the BNSF. Footage seen in this video is a compilation of clips from three separate trips to Montana taken from March and October of 2023 and early January of 2024. As of the time of uploading this video, most, if not all the 4300's are off the property and circulating the BN system. The Bozeman Pass helper sets are now BN powered and the remaining 4400's SD70ACe's are around Helena in use for Mullan Pass. A few of trains seen in this video range from MRL's system wide ML/LM trains, unit coal and grain trains, a long with appearances from the Helena, Bozeman and Logan Locals.
