You're already missed beyond measure. 1952-2020. The Rev. Awdry's Railway Series is as of 12th May 2020 75 years old. To mark the occasion (although a little late!) I take a look back at what the books and TV show have meant to me growing up, appreciating how it has affected who I am today, and trying to understand just what makes it all so significant. I hope many of you will share the memories mentioned in this nostalgia trip. I also hope this isn't too cringe-worthy! I've made this video time and time again at various stages but never been happy with the final result. As this is an important occasion, I've held my breath and just gone for it this time, so enjoy! It's made with the presumption that there will be both Thomas fans and non-Thomas fans watching, and similarly fans of the books and fans of the show.
