In this session there are two running sessions with reviews on two recent acquisitions , the first is the Bachmann Class 410 4-BEP a great model and the usual Bachmann quality finish. However, I could not wholly endorse the model, because of it's RRP, and in my opinion badly designed coupling system. In the review I have run it with a Class 411 4-CEP to make a prototypical consist, to my knowledge the Class 410 never ran as a standalone 4 Car set. More often the consist was a Class 411, a Class 410, and another Class 411, making a 12 Car train, with the buffet set in the middle. The second running session and review is the Hornby Railroad Plus Class 47 with TTS Sound, I feel this model is okay and even at RRP not outrageous, but, I have to say the finish and the moulded detail is a tad too basic, and the lack of lighting on a DCC model is a big disappointment. On the plus side the TTS sound is excellent, the special livery well applied, and the etched nameplates a welcome addition. Thanks for watching, Going Loco Episode 16 coming along soon....
