Since the dawn of humanity, man has focused on two areas: survival and understanding the universe. Despite numerous natural calamities and mass extinctions, man has survived and established himself as the dominant force on this planet. However, his quest to understand the universe and his place in it remains a mystery to this day. In pursuit of truth, he has developed various knowledge systems, including science, philosophy, and art, among others. The ancient rishis from India developed a unique knowledge called Jyotish, which has the potential to uncover the secrets and mysteries of the universe. It also explains how man and the universe are not two separate entities but one indivisible, unified being. I believe that astrology is the missing link to understanding not only man but also the universe at large and our place in it. Unfortunately, modern science and rampant materialism have dominated the current worldview of the universe. However, I hope that astrology will one day be recognized and find its rightful place as an important field of knowledge alongside other contemporary sciences, filling the missing links in the search for answers that man has been seeking since the dawn of humanity. On an individual level, astrology can be a great source of inspiration and a helpful tool to navigate the complexities of modern life. It can guide individuals through difficulties and help them explore their inner potential. In my experience, astrology can be particularly helpful in addressing the confusion about who we are and the forces that influence us. Astrology can provide a clear picture, a map, a bird's-eye view of our lives, and all the forces that are influencing us. By knowing this, we can plan our lives accordingly. Another benefit of astrology is that it helps us understand time. Time is unpredictable and can oscillate between being favorable and unfavorable, making the human experience truly unpredictable. However, astrology's unique time division, called Dasha periods, can help us organize our lives accordingly. By understanding our Dasha periods, we can overcome great difficulties with minimum physical and emotional trauma. The third significant benefit of astrology is that it can guide us towards our spiritual goals. Our true nature is spiritual, but because of our ignorance, we falsely identify ourselves as finite material beings. According to Advaita philosophy, our purpose of life is to identify this false identity and recognize our true self, which is the highest goal of human life, called Mukti or liberation. Astrology can be of great help in guiding us towards this highest goal. I am not a professional astrologer, but I am enthusiastic about life and its purpose. In my search for answers, I found astrology to be a great source of knowledge, along with other Indian knowledge systems like Upanishads and Advaita Vedanta. I create these videos to spread knowledge and, in the process, help myself learn and evolve as an individual and spiritual being.
