In the weeks leading up to the Mini Le Mans 2024 event, a non-championship showcase race on November 22nd, all teams have been allowed track time to get to know this incredibly challenging circuit. With speeds in excess of 200mph, mistakes are simply not an option - so practice is essential in order to minimise lap time and maximise safety on the big day. What is the Dreamcast Le Mans Series? • Team-based circuit racing featuring 2 separate category-specific mini championships • Historic Le Mans GT and Prototype cars from the late 1990's • Each mini championship consists of 5 races at classic international race venues • A special season-ending, non-championship, 1 hour Mini Le Mans endurance race featuring a selection of teams from both categories • 15 lap races against the games hardest A.I. • Variable weather • Onboard feed plus trackside race coverage • All races started from last place on the grid due to a lack of quick race in-game qualifying in this version (except Mini Le Mans mode) • Created using Le Mans 24 Hours on Sega Dreamcast • Please note: Due to my output resolution and capture capabilities from the Sega Dreamcast, I recommend watching this video on a small screen (phone or tablet). Overlays are intentionally designed to be low resolution to be in keeping with the games visual appearance. Replays rarely last the full length of the race, so trackside camera feeds will fade out sometime during the race.
