Backwater SWOMP LITE GLIDER KIT for 12-16 HP Review

This was my experience and review with the Backwater SWOMP LITE GLIDER KIT for 12-16 HP engines. Here is the article if you want a written version of it - https://www.jtgatoring.com/backwater-... My short review & conclusion is this: The Backwater kit is a sturdy, solid built frame that is designed for gobbling up grass and chugging through mud, while also appearing to take abuse well. It favors those who are not gear-heads, wrench-turners, or tinkerers, due to having little to modify and few prop sizes to choose from. Speed is NOT a priority with this kit. If you want American Made and don’t mind paying the price tag for it, then this kit IS a solid consideration. The main issue I had with this kit is that I can not drive it for more than 10 minutes without my hands going numb. This is due to the vibration of the tiller handle. I will be taking the Backwater kit off of this 13hp predator engine and putting the Swamp Runner back on it (if it will fit since I had to cut the PTO shaft) and then go out and run that setup and see what happens. If there is no vibration with the Swamp Runner kit, then I will associate the vibration with the Backwater kit. If I still have a considerable amount of vibration, then the vibration will be due to the engine. For the most part, I believe I have tested all the major longtail mud motor KITS. I believe the next step would be the pre-assembled engines. These would mainly be the Go-Devil and the Mud Buddy longtails. These are very expensive though so it may take some time to get to that point. So any advice or help on that would be appreciated. There is still a lot to cover with mud motors, jon boats, and the great outdoor lifestyle. Videos and articles will continue to come out every Saturday!
