About the footage: **My name is Saycon Sengbloh and I co-starred in “Holler If You Hear Me” The Broadway show featuring the music of Tupac Shakur. Our associate choreographer shared footage from our pre- Broadway workshop on IG and I have re-shared it here. You can see me swaying on the left side waiting for my scenes. The play went to Broadway with starring Saul Williams when Chadwick got the James Brown movie. I watched this over and over and cried I still can't believe he is gone. He was so serious about his storytelling and HipHop! 👊🏾 I had zero days off for nearly two months straight. We had just opened @motownmusical directed by #CharlesRandolphWright, with a serious press schedule, Tony & Grammy nominations for our show, my grandmother was seriously ill, bestie @learning_erryday was planning a wedding, and I was even being audited at the same time! Highs and lows galore! A huge billboard of #JackieRobinson hovered across from the stage door! Chad! 🙏🏿 And along came @iamkennyleon with the opportunity to perform @2pac ‘s music alongside #ChrisJackson @cjack930 and @chadwickboseman #Chadwick —let me tell you — with this opportunity set before me, I found NEW energy and NEW joy everyday, even with no days off— and a new friend, who introduced me to the leveled up concept of self worth, self belief, and luxury. Moving fast and making decisions to take your life into your own hands! A serious shift in my concept of self —as a human being, as a black person, a business person, and as a star came from this friendship— a bright star— so magnetic and beloved and desired by everyone around him! My God, what it is must have been like to be you! So loved and full of love— and so big & talented!
