An online platform which allows you to create surveys and forms. It is a part of the G-Suite apps hosted by Google. Benefits of Google Forms It is easy to use for basic forms and it is free. It is great for basic forms and surveys and it can be embedded into your website, sent over email, or the URL can be copy and pasted wherever you like. How to Create a Google Form To create a Google Form, just click on the + button at the top of the page. Then, you can give your form a title and a description. To add a question, just click on the + button on the right side of the first question. You can also change the format of the question so that the response is either a multiple choice answer, short answer, paragraph, checkbox, or dropdown menu. How to Embed a Google Form To embed a Google Form just go to the top of your screen and you will see a button that says ‘Send’, go ahead and click that. You will then see that you have three different options for embedding your form. The first option embeds your form into an email and you can simply enter the email addresses that you want to send the form to. The second option is to send the form by copying the URL of the form. And the third option is the embed option. Here you are provided with an iframes code that you can copy into your website. Then, head over to Wordpress. To embed the form, click on the + button in the editor of the page and select custom HTML. Then, copy the embed code into the text box provided. It’s quite simply to do this, however Google Forms has its limitations because it doesn’t allow you many design options and its embedding options aren't as responsive. Because you are unable to change the size of the iframes it may give a very unpleasant user-experience. The contents of your form might be cut off and your users will need to scroll in the frame offered which can be quite challenging and also doesn’t look visually appealing on your website. Furthermore, Google Forms lacks responsiveness meaning it will look different in different browsers.
