The set up for new litters is a production; at least it is for us. We don’t have many litters so we have the luxury of being extremely careful and do everything possible to provide a safe whelping of puppies, both for the little ones and mama. From the huge pen, to custom whelping box, to the “Vet Fleece” carpeting in the box, to hospital style equipment to sleeping inside the pen for two weeks, we really care about our dogs and their puppies. Some will call it overkill but we don’t care; this is how we do it and we believe it provides the safest, most comfortable environment possible for our fur babies. Zoey is due August 31. The puppies would he ready for forever homes the 1st or 2nd week of November. We have several really awesome applications already including two past puppy parents.
