God's peace.    / @jeffhorchoff   After doing all the work to get these bees safely removed along with all the comb necessary for them to make it for the rest of the year, I really thought this one was in the books. Was I ever wrong. What a total disappointment and heart break to discover the puddle of honey/water pooled up in the back of the van. This could only mean one thing, the bees overheated and most in the bee vac were dead. Even after doing all the things I know to keep the bees healthy after a removal, I still was unable to keep these bees alive. And like I said in the video, the future for these bees was bleak at best. Two days after the removal when I went to release the queen, there were already loads of hive beetle larva in the comb. I then removed all the comb and placed the bees into a 3 frame box with 2 frames of honey, not their own, and an empty, drawn out frame of comb. This drastic measure did give the bees a chance to recover, but after 4 weeks, the hive absconded. A great disappointment again, but one totally understandable.
