Cadillac produced the Allante from 1987 to 1993 I think about 21,000 total of these cars made in those years. That's a pretty small number of cars for a major automaker. In 1993 the Cadillac Northstar V8 was introduced, allowing foro the last year production of the Allante to receive the Northstar engine. Now I'm not an expert on the Allante but I would think that the model with the North Star would be the most desirable. There's not a whole lot of difference in the cars other than that engine for the whole production run. I'm going to get blasted for what I'm saying about that these cars but that's pretty much it for the Allante. Pretty typical late 80s early 90s styling pretty good looking car for the time. It was meant to compete with the Mercedes 450SL and those types of cars. It has the removable hardtop and a folding convertible top that's underneath a tonneau cover just behind the seats. A pleasure to drive of course! The car has the typical handling that you would expect in a Mercedes 450SL or other cars of that size and era. This one will be for sale after a few special after market extras are added.
