Mounting Maxxis Bighorn On Our Can-Am Renegade XXC 1000R
We absolutely love our Can-Am Renegade X XC 1000R. It has a tremendous amount of power, handles great, and the suspension is really plush....even when ridden really hard. The area where we do most of our riding is particularly hard on tires. So, after puncturing three stock tires, we decided to upgrade those stock tires with some original Maxxis Bighorns. These 6 ply tires have a reputation for being incredibly tough, and we've used them on many project builds over the years with great success. Although a tad heavy, they are incredibly durable. We'll show you how to remove the wheels, take the factory bead lock wheel apart, use a bead breaker to break the tire bead, removed the stock tires, and remount the brand new Maxxis Bighorn tires. The go-to tool for this project is a bead breaker from www.beadbuster.com
