Fuji GFX100 v Hasselblad X1D II 50C

Having spent three weeks with both the Fuji GFX100 and Hasselblad X1D II 50C medium format cameras and covering several small shoots with both, sometimes side-by-side, I thought I’d give you my evaluation and thoughts and feelings on these two medium format cameras. With the Fuji I had a Fuji 110 f2 lens and with the Hasselblad I had the Hasselblad 90mm f3.2 lens and I concentrated on portrait photography with an outdoor portrait shoot and an indoor portrait session with my Bowens GM500R flash heads. I also shot a landscape windmill image. There is no doubt that both the Fuji GFX100 and Hasselblad X1D II produce incredible looking images. The Fuji pips the Hasselblad slightly in the detail/resolution department while the Hasselblad pips the Fuji with regard to more natural looking images.
