If there is something off about the sound (apart from the sloppy playing and not so fitting tone) I also decided to use both the signal from my amp and the sound from my phone, which I've never done but it felt right here. For the curious minds: tuning is E Standard. And if I would be learning the song again I would totally play the powerchords in the chorus on the higher strings. BMSS is definitely my favourite band, fell in love with the sound as soon as I heard them for the first time when Rainbow Nights got randomly recommended to me by YouTube in early 2021 (and I'm so glad my curiosity got the best of me). Since then I've been hooked on it and the likes of other "Magick Metal" bands. Like others I've been fiending for some new material to indulge myself into, and man did this album deliver!! The day this album released was going absolutely amazing already (I had no idea anything was supposed to be released). And when I came home and saw those 4 astronauts standing about I actually shed a few tears of happiness. Embarassing and all, but life felt pretty good in that moment, you know?
