I didn't feel like there were any special "AI" functionality within the app, however, the app has an excellent library of animated stories (which they also confusingly named "texts") that incorporate the target vocabulary. Like many apps, grammar is still a weak point, and the speech recognition is ridiculously strict to the point of being impossible to get a perfect score. Overall, it is an engaging app that is suited for people who wish to learn in context of everyday conversations.
