Alaska Airlines Pilots Fight for a Contract

Three years ago, pilots at Alaska Airlines started the negotiation process for a new contract. Alaska Airlines (the most profitable airline in America in the first quarter of 2022) has refused to give pilots basic scheduling assurances that are standard practice at other airlines. On April 1st, 2022, pilots at five regional bases participated in an informational picket to send a clear message to Alaska Airlines, “Break the Stall, Contract Now!” Flights attendants and pilots from other ALPA airlines join in solidarity with their brothers and sisters at Alaska Airlines. This included roughly 120 at the Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, AK.
