The GD&T Guy continues with some more uses (and misuses) of dowel pins to locate machined parts. [Starting at about 11m 27s, I had a breakdown in self-confidence but I was actually pretty close to being right. Since recording this video, I revisited Fig 4-47 in ASME Y14.5-2009. Now I think the phantom line shouldn't be so heavy, and instead of the Datum N feature symbol, there should be a datum target pointing at the phantom line. I would like to correct this someday!
