When we decided to head to Paris from Prague, we knew it was going to be an extraordinarily long day full of train rides. But we did not know that a train cancellation, an extra train ride and four extra hours of train rides would be thrown our way. That entire experience made us extra grateful that we will no longer be taking trains for a while (kind of). And it made us even more grateful to be reminded that--hey! we were in Paris! And when in Paris, you have to see the Louvre. We carved out a full day to see the Louvre and still, we did not see it all. Even with all the crowds, restrictions, and having to wear a mask the entire time--it was so worth it. What made our first real day in Paris extra magical was getting to see some amazing friends from home. It made us almost completely forget that we had a rough yesterday.
