We had booked our package through Spiti Holiday Adventure company, but I will recommend you to directly contact Mr Rajbir Singh (the cab driver we had). He is a really polite local guy who does road trip in all of Spiti, Ladakh and rest of Himachal. Contact Mr Rajbir: +91 9816870767 So our stay was booked in a hotel in New Kaza near the main market, but the hotel review was very bad, there was no electricity for most part of the day. After exploring the local market of Kaza, I found that the HImalayan Cafe was the best one around undoubtedly. There is one ATM in New Kaza and there was one petrol pump in Old Kaza. The local market was a small one as compared to Rekong Peo. But the bus service in kaza and in Spiti valley in general is great. The town of Kaza is the subdivisional headquarters of the remote Spiti Valley in the western Himalayas in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. Spiti is a high altitude or cold desert having close similarities to the neighbouring Tibet and Ladakh regions in terms of terrain, climate and the Buddhist culture.
