Fitbit ionic won't turn on or charge or factory reset

What I went through with the Fitbit warranty on my Fitbit ionic Smartwatch when it wouldn't turn on or charge or factory reset and with the Wal-Mart Asurion warranty repair for this time. Update March 6th, 2019 I got an email from the Wal-Mart Asurion people saying that they are "unable to repair my ionic watch" and gave me an email with a $ gift card for the cost I had bought it for. So sad that this thing barely lasted me a year (between 2 watches!) But glad I paid $40 for the 4 year replacement plan. Only $40 out of pocket instead of $300. But hope this helps anyone else....
