How to Draw and Paint Halloween YOGA SKELETONS - Paint and Sip at Home - Fun and Easy Acrylic Lesson

PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Looking for an easy Halloween painting idea? Want a fun Halloween DIY project? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint skeletons doing yoga— a humorous Halloween painting “YOGA SKELETONS” with acrylic paint. Ever wonder what skeletons do in their spare time? If you said “Yoga” then you are correct! The benefits of yoga are endless—increases muscle strength, improves respiration, energy and vitality, helps you maintain a balanced metabolism, weight reduction, cardio and circulatory health, improves your overall athletic performance, helps protect you from injury, brightens your moods, and helps promote better sleep. Now, I know what you’re thinking... skeletons don’t have muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, or the reproductive system, so how can they benefit from yoga? Well, even though skeletons don’t have 9 out of the 10 systems of the body, they have the one that matters the most to them—the skeletal! And yoga has proven to help reduce arthritis, particularly, rheumatoid arthritis. And skeletons need to maintain their agility if they are going to walk around graveyards at night, especially during the Halloween season. So, join me and capture the secret lives of skeletons and learn how to paint the perfect Halloween image of skeletons doing yoga at night in a graveyard! The painting process for this beginner art lesson is so simple. In the first step to this acrylic art lesson, you’ll learn how to paint mystical and alluring background using spooky and dark colors in order to create that perfect Halloween feel to your image. After painting gravestones using basic shapes as a guide, such as squares, rectangles, crosses and circles, you’ll learn how to paint fog and mist using a dry brush technique. Then after learning how to draw stick figure skeletons using a simple dot to dot method, you’ll apply a base coat to work off of. Then you’ll learn how to paint highlights and shadows on your boney characters using a wet-on-wet technique to create richness, form, and texture to each of the skeletons’ skull, metacarpals, ribs, spine, hip, ulna, radius, femur, humerus, scapula, phalanges, sternum, sacrum, coccyx, and all other important bones that made these skinless nightwalkers human at one point. If you don’t care for yoga, but you are a fan of The Walking Dead, the thousand zombie apocalypse movies, He Man action figures, or the Nightmare on Christmas, then this at home Halloween project is for you! You can change the narrative of this enchanting illustration into skeletons that are dancing, playing cards, signing or even having dinner. The art lesson is so easy to follow, you’ll feel like it’s a paint by numbers. The point is to have fun and create the perfect canvas wall art fitting to decorate your home for Halloween. Using only 3 brushes, and 5 colors, you’ll paint like a professional and create the best canvas painting in the world! Have a date night, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It's an easy Halloween DIY project for anyone.
