This is the vocal version that serves as the ending theme for the BL and GD routes (though I recently did do the version that plays during the BE ending, The Color of Sunrise, with Israfelcello--check it out on his channel here:    • The Edge of Dawn (from "Fire Emblem: ...  ) I do really like the intro version and the BE ending version of this theme especially because they're so piano-y but the vocal version just REALLY grabbed me because it was this really cool lo-fi hip hop jam that I loved so much that the night before the game released I was already scoring it out. It took a LONG time and went through so many revisions, because while the sudden transitions in the original version are what make it so awesome, it is HORRIBLY awkward on piano so I had to take it back to the drawing board many times to work them out. (Many thanks to Animevivi for being my sounding board!!! you the man!!!) It would have been very easy to turn it into a nice dreamy pop ballad but I really wanted to retain the feel of the original as much as I could, plus when have I ever wanted to make things easy for myself SOBS hence a bit more of the rhythmic elements. Striking that balance was what made this one probably the most frustrating and difficult arrangements i've ever done, like ever, so much so that Antidote feels like a walk in the park now and I should just really go and finish it lmao. Anyways I still feel like there was more I could have done to make it better but after six weeks and countless hours of going back and forth on it I just want it out of my freaking life now lmao, so here it is. I still don't know how I feel about this overall hahaha and not expecting anyone to really like it but i'm hoping you guys at least find it different, that's really all I want hahaha.
