Is Obesity a sign of malnutrition in urban India? - Ms. Atraeyee Nihar Chandra

Over weight is a new trend for high deficiencies or malnutrition in India. It is a phase where people are running to earn money and they don't have time to eat, sleep or drink water. One reason for malnutrition is consumption of packed food or processed food try to increase more of fruits and vegetables in the life style to avoid malnutrition, please don't cut and keep the vegetables for a long time instead you can just cut and eat it or eat it with the skin, it is more nutritious compared to keeping it in the refrigerator for a day or long. Malnutrition is a combination of dehydration, low sleep and at the same time irregular food timing and habit. Most of the people think that by the end of the day when you have survived the entire day you need a good meal, now that is one of the thing that creates a lot of pressure in the body o digest the food after a very long day. If you want to have a heavy meal prefer either in the afternoon or in morning. Avoid heavy food at night so that it is easier for your body to digest, prefer to have boiled, soaked, fermented, roasted in the evening or night compared to huge meal with 4 or 5 types of vegetables or greens at night. Malnutrition is not about having nutrition deficiency, it is combination of putting on weight at the same time losing lot of hair or dehydration at the same time being gastric and acidic all the time. To avoid malnutrition first have a very good digestive system where you have a clean stomach first thing in the morning.
