For a Made In China import model it is a really good guitar coming as is. It plays well and the pickups are punchy. But there are a few little upgrades that can take this guitar from good to great. Tone wise I am torn - the old pickups did have something about them I really liked. Same with the look, I could go with both. All in all, I prefer the clarity of the new pickups. What do you think?
